Everyday we are bombarded with talk, images, social media posts about health, diet, exercise. Everyone wants to be healthy but what does that look like. We ask ourselves:
- What makes a healthy lifestyle?
- Is it just a healthy diet?
- What's a healthy diet look like?
- What can I eat?
- What shouldn't I eat?
- How much should I eat?
- Can I still eat out?
- What does a healthy person look like?
Using video and activities from myplate.gov we will discuss healthy eating and answer these questions and more. Everyone will walk away with an understanding of how to start healthy eating habits and how to make healthy snacks that taste good. Transportation and lunch provided. You must be registered for transportation.
