Day of Champions

Day of Champions is an all-day competitive event where youth in grades 6-12 come together and enjoy physical and mental challenges.  This program falls under our "Strengthening Bodies" philosophy.

The activities are designed to encourage teamwork, good sportsmanship and the development of leadership skills.  Each team is comprised of 5 to 10 participants of varying ages, gender and physical size.  Team members learn to interact and effectively communicate with team mates they may not know.  The day consists of teams rotating from activity to activity in physical and mental competitions.

This program is designed to give each participant an opportunity to discover their individual talents and as a team to understand that everyone has something of value to offer.  A winning team maximizes the strengths of the individual team members to create a strong unit.   This process builds confidence and also creates fertile ground for the development of new friendships.

At the end of the day, the team that has won the most events is crowned the “Champions of the Day” and each team member is awarded a medal.
